Located directly on the Rothaarsteig in Winterberg-Lenneplätze at 800 meters altitude, the Asten-Lodge sits in the midst of a natural property spanning over 7000 square meters. The idyllic slate-clad house offers space for six people in three double bedrooms, making it ideal for couples and families.

140 sqm of comfort
On approximately 140 sqm of living space, the Asten-Lodge offers room for six people in three equal double bedrooms. An additional child's bed is also available. The house has two bathrooms and a guest toilet. It was renovated in early 2020 and features the latest furnishings.
The house has a fully equipped modern kitchen that invites you to cook together. In summer, you can barbecue on the terrace. A charcoal grill is provided.
A fireplace in the living room provides cozy warmth on cold days for games and good conversations. The house also has a Smart TV and WiFi, so you won't have to compromise on entertainment.
Up to two dogs are welcome at Asten-Lodge.
Barrel sauna made of Swiss stone pine for six people!
At Asten-Lodge, you have access to a barrel sauna made of Swiss stone pine. With views of the vast Sauerland landscape, you can enjoy sauna infusions in the Finnish sauna and really work up a sweat.

The Property
7000 sqm of pure nature
The Asten-Lodge is situated on a 7000 sqm natural property directly adjacent to the Rothaarsteig, one of the most famous and popular hiking trails in the region. Distant views of the wonderful Sauerland are included.
Beech and fir trees surround the house – forest bathing on your own property. In the middle of the forest yet very close to Neuastenberg and Winterberg. You can start hiking and cycling tours directly from the house. Restaurants and inns are also within easy walking distance.
Enjoy the view over the peaks of the Hochsauerland from the terraces and end the evening at the house's own fire pit with a campfire.
